BIO

-We only have a world because we live as bodies that know the world as an extension of the body’s ways of being*-

I am a choreographer, performer, educator, soft place holder and researcher with studies in performance practices, artistic research, inclusive pedagogy and dance practice. I am interested in creating fluid contexts and structures that encourage dreaming, imagining, learning and critical thinking- an approach that extends across my artistic practice and daily life. The physical body is the starting point for my research. I perceive the body as an archive that encapsulates memories, desires, habits, ancestors, and invisible histories, By moving, these archives are unfolded and redefined.

My choreographic work focuses on creating poetic landscapes through movement, text, and video, while making invisible elements and relations visible. I explore the use of imagination as a tool to propose alternative ways of experiencing both the dancing body and the world. Instant composition, improvisation practices, and the use of choreographic scores are the main methods I use for moving, brainstorming, thinking, and composing, while approaching the dancing body as a fluid archive. My work has been presented in various festivals, theatres and alternative places in Europe some of which are 4bid Gallery, Tanzhaus Basel, Dance Days Chania Festival, Stedelijk Museum, Dimitria Festival, BUDA art centre and more.

As a performer, I have worked with Marina Abramovic, Julyen Hamilton, Corinne Eckenstein/Unusual Beings dance company, Byström Källblad, Iris Woutera, Eleonora Siarava, Christine Ellison, and more. My ongoing experience as a performer and choreographer, informed by my studies in Pedagogy, is channeled to the dance community through the teaching of workshops to institutions, studios, and festivals as well as the mentoring of art students in universities.

In 2025, I co-founded Sky studio, a collective space for art and performance in Amsterdam Oost.
